AK-1. Beers, S.N. & D.G. Individual Maps from the
New Topographical Atlas of Saratoga County, New York. Philadelphia: Stone &
Stewart, 1866. These are individual color maps from the remnants of a badly
damaged (or heavily used) atlas. Most are torn or cut along the margins, , and
all have a piece of the upper left corner torn away, but the actual map areas
are very good. All have great information, including residences and businesses,
but not much decorative value without careful matting. As follows:

H. Pease, 1853. Folded map, about 17" x 25", showing the Saranac Lakes and the
rest of the county. Probably removed from a book rather than published
separately; a few light foxing marks, and a couple tiny holes at the four-fold
corners. Very good. $40.00

King, George L. ZONING MAPS OF WEEDSPORT, NY. Auburn: King, 1947.
A set of nine zoning maps, one 19" x 23", the others are all about 35" x 38"
showing various precincts. All are very good, the larger maps show minor soiling
on the backs and a little flaking, but not in important places. $50.00

Crossfield Purchase, Hamilton County, N.Y. 1901. NP (Albany), 1901. 26"x26"
folded color map of the central Adirondack region, with Raquette Lake almost in
the middle. Lumbering data by E.S. Bruce. The upper left corner is torn and
neatly repaired with archival tape, with the repair affecting only the map title
and not the main section. Otherwise, a near fine example showing some of the
finest Adirondack canoeing area and the land of the great camps. $60.00

Published during the term of Governor Thomas E. Dewey, this 30" x 38" color map
on coated paper show major attractions throughout the state, from John Burroughs
in the Catskills to television laboratories in Schenectady to the home of Elbert
Hubbard in East Aurora. Historical essay in the margin by NYS Historian Albert
B. Corey. Drawn by General Drafting Co., Inc. Rolled for decades, the map is
bright and very good- near fine, with a little wrinkling due to being stored
rolled. $35.00
