AB-5.  Dean, Amos. ADDRESS DELIVERED BEFORE THE YOUNG MEN'S STATE ASSOCIATION OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, AT THEIR FIRST ANNUAL MEETING, AT GENEVA, SEPT. 2, 1841. Albany: J. Munsell, 1841. 31 pp., printed title page, with a three page appendix with the constitution of the association. Dean was president of the association, and this speech seems to set the tone of the convention. Light foxing. Removed from a bound volume. Very good. $50.00

AB-7.  Everett, Edward. SPEECH OF THE HON. EDWARD EVERETT, DELIVERED AT BOSTON, APRIL, 1863. Albany: Weed, Parsons, 1863. 12 pp. Union Campaign Docs., No. 6. Everett's address upon being made president of the Union Club in Boston, April 9, 1863. Known for his conservatism, the publishers felt this was a powerful statement on the war. Everett spoke at Gettyburg the same day as Lincoln's address. Light damp stains along the edges; very good. $35.00

Albany: Weed, Parsons & Company, 1857. 61 pp., printed title page. Arguing on behalf of the Episcopal Church. Removed from a bound volume. Clean and very good. $30.00

AB-9.   Leech, S.V., D.D.  MARTIN LUTHER: THE MAN AND HIS WORK. Albany: D.R. Niver, 1883. 16 pp., gray printed wrappers. A discourse preached in Grace Methodist Episcopal Church, Albany, NY, on Sunday Evening, November 4th, 1883. A pencil notation on the front cover, a light mark from being previously folded, and a minor scrape on the front affecting the title lettering. Nevertheless, a clean and very good copy.  $22.50

AB-10.  Pearson, Jonathan, et al. A HISTORY OF THE SCHENECTADY PATENT. Albany: Joel Munsell's Sons, 1883. 1st edition. 466 pp., square 8vo, green cloth. An edition of 300 copies.  Edited by J.W. Mac Murray. Covers the Dutch and English periods, with contributions toward a history of the lower Mohawk Valley. A rare and highly regarded history of the region. Much wear and a few repairs to the covers, but a good copy. $100.00

AB-11.  Seymour, Horatio. ADDRESS... BEFORE THE NEW YORK STATE AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY. Albany: Charles Van Benthuysen & Sons, 1880. 37 pp., gray printed wrappers, folded map. Delivered at the annual meeting, January 21, 1880. Discusses comparisons and contrasts between American and European agriculture, but also touching on other matters concerning both continents. A few chips to the wrappers, and the map is detached but laid in. Very good. $45.00

AB-12.  Shaw, Rev. Joseph. THE ORACLES OF GOD, COMMITTED TO THE CHURCH FOR UNIVERSAL DIFFUSION. Albany: G. J. Loomis & Co., 1820. 1st edition. 56 pp., printed title page. A sermon delivered by appointment of the Albany Bible Society. Shaw was a professor of languages at Albany Academy. A fine copy, removed from a bound volume, and not containing the report of the board of managers listed on the title page. $35.00

AB-14.   Sweny, Harry Roy. A SATIRICAL POLITICAL POEM ENTITLED SIR CHARLIE HUDIBRAS. Albany: Privately Printed, 1909. 2nd edition. "A truthful history of political events in the Race-Track War of 1908, when Gov. Hughes imposed a racing ban."  Very light damp stain on the outer margin of a few pages, else very good. $30.00

AB-16. Watson, Winslow C. THE MILITARY AND CIVIL HISTORY OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX, NEW YORK. Albany: J. Munsell, 1869. 1st edition. 504 pp., green cloth. Plum 685. An excellent early history of the Adirondack region, essential for any regional library. Some wear to the covers, light foxing. Very good. $250.00

AB-17.  Watson, Winslow C. THE MILITARY AND CIVIL HISTORY OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX, NEW YORK. Albany: J. Munsell, 1869. 1st edition. 504 pp., green cloth. Plum 685. A general survey of its physical geography, mines and minerals, and industries, plus an account of the northern wilderness, and the military annals of the fortresses of Crown Point and Ticonderoga. Rebound in green buckram, probably in the mid 20th century. Wrinkling to a few pages, but generally a clean and very good copy.  $200.00

Contains some biographical information. Unbound, probably removed from a bound volume. A clean very good copy. $40.00
