PP-3.  Beckford, William. VATHEK: AN ARABIAN TALE. NY: Limited Editions Club. #443/ 1500. 12mo, full decorated leather. Designed and illuminated by Valenti Angelo, who signed the book on the colophon. The smallest LEC book we haven encountered, but a beautiful production. Fine $50.00

PP-6.  Browne, Sir Thomas. RELIGIO MEDICI. Eugene: University of Oregon/Limited Editions Club, 1939. #1196/1500. 4to, 114 pp., cloth spine and marbled boards. Edited with a new introduction by Geoffrey Keynes. Printed for the Limited Editions Club by John Henry Nash, who signed the colophon. The title page, originally engraved by William Marshall, has been re-engraved in copper for this edition by Dolph Henry Murnik. Very good. $45.00

PP-7.  Bunyan, John. THE PILGRIM= S PROGRESS. NY: Limited Editions Club, 1941. #1196/1500. 214 pp., 4to, green cloth with leather spine label. Edited by G. B. Harrison. Illustrated with twenty-nine watercolor paintings by William Blake, the first edition of the book to include Blake= s illustrations. Introduction by Geoffrey Keynes. Printed at the Spiral Press. Blake= s illustration for this classic work were known for years, and but never appeared in any of the many editions of this classic work. Their history is detailed in the introduction. The spine is a bit sunned, but it is a very good copy. $85.00

Printed at the Shakespeare Head Press by B.H. Newdigate. Signed by Gay and Newdigate. Cloth spine and patterned paper-covered boards. Very good.           $65.00

Illustrated by Tottoroto. Printed by the Bird & Bull Press at Newtown, PA. Composed in Caslon types by Mackenzie-Harris Corp., printed on mould-made Arches text paper, and bound by Gray Parrot. A facsimile of the extant manuscript, edited by Peter Davison, with a preface by Daniel G. Siegel. Slipcase. Fine; as new, in its shipping box.           $500.00

A very attractive book, printed at the press of William Edwin Rudge in New York City. The glassine dustwrapper is a bit chipped, else a fine copy. $20.00

Designed by James and Carolyn Robertson, and printed by letterpress by Jim Wehlage at the Yolla Bolly Press. Bound at the Schuberth Bookbindery. Signed by  both Gold and Prochnow. Fine in its original slip case.           $650.00

Hand-set in Wayside Roman and Bulmer types and printed on R.B. Friendship Vellum paper. Frontispiece illustration by John Lehman. Printed in 1960, but not bound until 1987, when the work was done by Kurt Leisi. Fine. $20.00

PP-23.  Zola, Emile. NANA. NY: Limited Editions Club, 1958. 4to. No. 443/1500, 410 pp. signed by the illustrator, Bernard Lamotte. Designed by George Salter and printed at the Garamond Press in Baltimore. Preface by Henry James. Translated into English by F.J. Vizetelly. Red cloth, with a bit of uneven sunning and a hint of wear at the spine ends. Uncut. Very good. $50.00
