Schenectady Wintersports Club Buttons, 1940 & 1942

Schencetady Wintersports Club. Two Member Buttons, 1940 and 1942.. 1" painted metal button, with a rear metal insert with a pin fastener. Made by the Whitehead Mfg. Company of Newark, NJ. The club, composed mainly of General Electric employees, were strong enthussiasts of skiing and other winter activities, and ran a Ski Train from Schenectady to a small ski area on Gore Mt. in North Creek. Both buttons are lightly worn, but very good.
