The only two issues of  Vortex Science Fiction. Vol. 1, No. 1, April, 1953. NY: Specific Fiction Corp., 1953. First issue, with twenty new, previously unpublished stories by Milton Lesser, Alfred Coppel, Lester Del Rey, Sylvia Jacobs, Jack Vance, and others. With Vol. 1, No. 2. NY: Specific Fiction Corp., 1953. Second issue, with twenty-five previously unpublished stories by leading writers, including two by Marion Zimmer Bradley. The periodical folded after the second issue, so this is a complete run of the magazine. Both are clean and appear unread, with very minor discoloration to the covers, and almost no browning to the pages. These could be the nicest copies one is likely to find of these issues.
